An essential winter event in village life is the pig slaughter. In the old days, the whole family and the neighbourhood would gather together to help prepare the next year's delicacies.
This was also the case with the Bóka family in Zákányszék. Three children were born into the family, and the middle daughter fell in love with a butcher's boy from Mórahalmi called Zsolt Farkas-Csamangó. After a marriage proposal and a big wedding, Petra's father took Zsolt to his side during the winter pig slaughter and taught him the most secret dishes and seasonings.
From then on, Zsolti became the head butler in the family, and after a while in the village. They had two children, first a little girl, Fanni, and then a real little butcher's heir, Zsoltika. After the children grew up, a family farm was established, and after a few years, a small-scale business called Csami Csemege (Tidbits). The family of four works together to prepare the most delicious pigs to meet the needs of their customers. They make smoked sausages and salami, smoked ham (the most important part of the Easter feast), pork cheese and liver and everything else that can be put on the table after a pig slaughter.

The products are sold at fairs and markets, and the feedback is that many families include some of these delicacies in their breakfast, lunch or dinner.
